Hacksaw Blade
A hacksaw is a fine-toothed saw that was initially used to cut metal. A bow saw is a wood-cutting saw that is similar to a jigsaw. The majority of hacksaws are handsaws with a C-shaped walking frame that keeps a blade taut. Such hacksaws contain pins for attaching a narrow disposable blade to the handle, which is commonly a pistol grip. The frames might also be adjusted to accommodate different blade diameters. The thin blade is tensioned using a screw or equivalent device. The teeth on a hacksaw blade can face toward or away from the handle, resulting in cutting action on either the push or draw stroke.
