Anemometer

A tool used to gauge wind direction and speed is called an anemometer. Typically, it consists of a tiny rotor with rotating cups or propellers that react to the wind and a sensor that gauges the rotor's rotational speed. The anemometer can accurately estimate the wind speed by measuring the rotational speed of the rotor, which is exactly proportional to the wind speed.

In order to measure wind speed and direction, anemometers are frequently employed in weather stations, research centers, and industrial applications. Additionally, they are employed in the aviation and maritime sectors to deliver precise weather information for air travel and maritime navigation.
