A Control Relay, commonly known as a Relay, is an electromagnetic switch that acts as a switch. Electrical current flows via a conducting coil in a control relay, which opens or closes a switch.

The product monitors it’s own three-phase supply and for the output relay to energise, all phases (and neutral) must be present, the phase sequence correct and the phase to neutral voltages within the set Under/Over trip levels. If any of these conditions are not met, the relay will de-energise.

The product monitors it’s own three-phase supply and for the output relay to energise, all phases must be present, the phase sequence correct and the phase to phase voltages within the set Under/Over trip levels. If any of these conditions are not met, the relay will de-energise.
SPECIFICATION:

When power is applied, the output relay will energise provided the monitored supply voltage is above the set Under voltage trip level and below the set Over voltage trip level.
Under voltage:
If the voltage decreases below the set Under voltage trip level, the relay will de-energise. The voltage must increase above the trip level plus the set hysteresis setting before the relay will re-energise.
Over voltage:
If the voltage increases above the set Over voltage trip level, the relay will de-energise. The voltage must decrease below the trip level minus the set hysteresis setting before the relay will re-energise.

The product is designed to monitor a nominal voltage on a separate supply and ensure it stays within the set limits. An auxiliary supply (required to power the unit) must be present for the product to function. When the monitored voltage is applied the relay will energise.
Under voltage: If the monitored voltage decreases below the set Under voltage trip level, the relay will de-energise. The voltage must increase above the trip level plus the set hysteresis setting before the relay will re-energise.
Over voltage: If the monitored voltage increases above the set Over voltage trip level, the relay will de-energise. The voltage must decrease below the trip level minus the set hysteresis setting before the relay will re-energise.
