Water Level Hose
A basic tool for measuring or showing the water level in a tank or container is a water level hose. Usually, a flexible tube filled with water is used, and one end of the hose is positioned in the container or area under observation at the appropriate level. The underlying idea is that water seeks its own level, hence the water level in the container and the hose will coincide. This can be used to fill tanks, level applications, or even make sure that the water levels are constant at various locations.
